the second quarter exams are over. i think that i wasn't feeling this one. i didn't study as much as i ideally would. i hope the results turn out ok.

watched two movies yesterday. i saw the karate kid on HBO. it wasn't bad. it was very 80's. haha. what did i expect from an 80's movie? i remember this one significant line from Mr. Miyagi:

"Hai - can see. No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher. Teacher say, student do."

i must say that the dojo teacher looked like he was a spawn of satan or something. he kept shooting these dark looks at everyone in the movie. regarding the quote, i wonder if it applies to everyone. does it apply to theresian education? haha.

i also saw this other movie with my sister last night. no reservations, starring catherine zeta-jones and two-face. it was a really boring movie. i thought it was gonna be this comedy about them fighting over domination of the kitchen. it wasn't like that at all. it was actually really depressing. apart from that, i didn't feel the chemistry between abigail breslin and catherine. their pillow fight looked so forced...it was kinda painful to watch. the catherine-two-face pairing also seemed a bit off. he looks so all-american and she looks so worldy...it doesn't work. my sister and i were really impressed with the apartments featured in the movie :). the movie was so serious that we actually paid attention to things like the set. the ending was sweet but i wouldn't watch it again.

i got so frustrated with changing my blog layout that i just picked one from blogger's themes. i couldn't find one that suited me so i'm stuck with this generic theme.

in other news, this person's blog looks amazing. there are so many wonderful designs out there. i didn't realize that blogskins.com was only the tip of the iceberg. :O

to be fair, the people who own these amazing websites are skilled web designers or something to that effect so it would only be right that they have amazing blog designs. damn. i wish i can do that.

my friends have made a new blog for all of us to post on. it's pretty cool. the url is badass. check it out. exams are next week. why am i not studying?

i finally changed my blogskin. i've spent so many hours browsing through www.blogskins.com and i can't find a good one. thank i goodness i found this one. i really like it. i should be studying for my exams but i don't know where to start. maybe i can now that my blog is looking good? we'll see.

in other news, i had my facial yesterday. my first facial. it hurt like hell but when i touched my face when i got home, it felt smooth. weird feeling. at least for me who no longer remembers what it feels like to have clear skin. my derma said she took out most of the pus but there are still a lot left. great. my brother, however, has other ideas. he told me to wash my face with papaya soap and use magic skin powder. he says that the derma doesn't work. his pimples are gone now. but i'm not about to veer away from what my mom wants me to do. she's very controlling nowadays. humph.

i have decided to change my layout. as said in the previous post, i wanted something significantly darker. and i got it. i just liked it for the layout i don't like the fact that the header is about love. i do not relate to the message at all. sorry. but i missed the simplicity of official blogger layouts yet still wanted the cool navbars that come along with layouts from blogskins. so that's the story. i now have a new layout but i will miss my old one terribly because i feel that i worked the hardest on that one. i love it. i must admit. there's that heavy feeling in my heart again. gawd. how come i feel it so much lately? i dunno. maybe i've just never paid much attention to this feeling , probably just dismissed it in the past. hum hallelujah.

i also feel like i need to change my blog skin. its too summery for me. its back to school and its the season for rain. i feel the need to acquire something...much darker, more sinister than being 'over the rainbow'.

i have a new layout now. its considerably much happier than my previous layout. i'm very happy with this one. its heavily edited (by me) but it looks great! i'm very happy with it. i even got imeem music on it! am i great or what? haha. probably 'what'. i don't think i really need the links and the tag board. i don't let anyone see my blog coz this is a diary. anyway, the music on here is fall out boy's entire album. i feel kinda guilty coz i didn't buy their album. but now that everything is available on the internet, i kinda feel like i'm wasting my money buying the actual album. ahh..sorry fall out boy. so that's that. i really like this one.

p.s. nicole is actually also using this layout on her account but it got messed up. i still have to change the profile picture because that is so not me...

this is, as the title suggests, the start of something new. actually, today is the start of many new things. as you can see, this is a new layout. i finally got tired of the old one which i swore i would never replace. this layout is pretty kewl, don't you think? its the first layout i've used that isn't the long page form. this has buttons. haha. its clear i know very little about this programming talk.

the second new thing is that i've started the 10-day face improvement program. hope it works. its supposed to get rid of my acne and the pimple scars. in connection to this, i have started putting this cream on my legs to remove the marks. hope it does. the 10-day program ends at march 21. hopefully, it fulfills its promise.

the third new thing today is the table mom bought for ate ida. mom bought it so ate ida can study in the 1st floor of the house. it seems we are no longer renting it out. ate ida says she can't study here because of the noise from the tv, radio, computer and the distraction of the comfortable bed in her room.

the fourth new thing today is...hmm...i think its my feeling of wanting to do something more productive this summer than just sit in front of the tv or computer. i might gain more weight. trying to keep it off you know. who doesn't? anyway, congratulations to the inagural post of this new layout. hopefully it lasts. it probably will since i'm so picky in choosing blog skins. ok. that's it for now. g'night. ciao! =)
