currently listening to: billionaire- travis mccoy ft. bruno mars

i don't know why, but i don't feel comfortable blogging on tumblr. i get this feeling that too many people are reading it. and i don't want that for some reason. i have no way of knowing if anything i post here can be read by anyone. but according to my former english teacher, there is a desire to be published if a person blogs. so i must have some desire for this to be published, or in my opinion, taken down for future reference.

anyway, what i really want to right about is this new series i'm reading. i don't know what the series is called, but i'll refer to it as gallagher girls by ally carter. no, they are not john gallagher's girls (couldn't resist putting this in). the series is about girls who are spies-in-training. i liked the premise so i went ahead and read the first book, then the second book, then the third book, and now, i can't wait for the fourth book to come out. it comes as no surprise that i like it because i am a huge fan of the cody banks movies. that whole teenage spy thing is right up my alley. and it doesn't hurt that it features all sorts of crazy cool technology that i appreciate very much (and wish that they existed. maybe they do. i don't know. i'm not in the CIA.)

i like the fact that the whole being-a-teenager aspect of it doesn't take away from the spy aspect. like, there's a love aspect (i do not like using the word aspect. i really don't.) to the story and that makes it more interesting  and doesn't take over the main subject (coughtwilightcough). the only bad thing i can say about it is that the action scenes aren't narrated very well. to the author, she can probably see the whole thing in her head but the narration leaves something to be desired. i'm not entirely sure about this because i do read very fast (to complement the high energy situation happening in the novel). maybe rereading will solve my problem. maybe not.

i can't really decide if zach is someone who can be trusted. but i do know that he and cammie would be awesome together and i hope they end up getting married. haha!

i'd recommend it for light reading to people around my age. good stuff.

next on my reading list? percy jackson book 3, the titan's curse. hellz yeah. speaking of titans, i saw clash of the titans with daryll and lara at trinoma last saturday. my sister asked me about the plot and when i had finished my summary, she asked me what the actual clash was about. i found myself stumped because i don't think i saw ANY titans in the movie. just olympians and argonauts. whut up wid dat? maybe i missed something because i was too distracted by nicholas hoult and kaya scoledario being in the movie? i don't know. if anyone reading this can enlighten me, please do so.
