the second quarter exams are over. i think that i wasn't feeling this one. i didn't study as much as i ideally would. i hope the results turn out ok.
watched two movies yesterday. i saw
the karate kid on HBO. it wasn't bad. it was very 80's. haha.
what did i expect from an 80's movie? i remember this one significant line from Mr. Miyagi:
"Hai - can see. No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher. Teacher say, student do."
i must say that the dojo teacher looked like he was a spawn of satan or something. he kept shooting these dark looks at everyone in the movie. regarding the quote, i wonder if it applies to everyone. does it apply to theresian education? haha.
i also saw this other movie with my sister last night.
no reservations, starring catherine zeta-jones and two-face. it was a really boring movie. i thought it was gonna be this comedy about them fighting over domination of the kitchen. it wasn't like that
at all. it was actually really depressing. apart from that, i didn't feel the chemistry between abigail breslin and catherine. their pillow fight looked so forced...it was kinda painful to watch. the catherine-two-face pairing also seemed a bit off. he looks so all-american and she looks so worldy...it doesn't work. my sister and i were really impressed with the apartments featured in the movie :). the movie was so serious that we actually paid attention to things like the set. the ending was sweet but i wouldn't watch it again.

Kate [Catherine]: I can't believe I'm actually paying for these suggestions.
i got so frustrated with changing my blog layout that i just picked one from blogger's themes. i couldn't find one that suited me so i'm stuck with this generic theme.
