saw 17 again with daryll and lourdes. completely impromptu outing.the movie house itself is something to blog about. it's crumbling away like my homemade pie crust. sound was terrible. screen was blurred (can you believe it? blurred? in the theater? in this day and age??). seats were definitely not la-z boy.

the movie itself is quite enjoyable. frankly, i hated the whole cougar aspect of it. but i guess that's what made it more funny. i loved sterling knight, the guy who played zac's "son". i've seen all episodes of sonny with a chance and it's refreshing to see him in a loser role.
as the credits were rolling, i found myself singing along. as if my mouth was pre-programmed to sing along whenever i heard the song...and i didn't even know what it was! i really didn't plan on opening the computer, but i knew i couldn't rest 'til i determine which song it is and why it's oh-so familiar. i already knew one thing, the kooks were definitely the ones singing. i type a couple of keywords into google and the mystery is solved. thanks, wikipedia! the song is naive by the kooks and it was covered by lily allen for the soundtrack of angus, thongs, and perfect snogging...which i posted on here on december 7, 2008! i love it when i love a song way before it becomes popular :D
