here i was. sitting in front of the computer. i hear my mom call my name from her room. i drag my overweight body over there to see what's up. she points to a glass and a cup. she tells me to get her cold water. i walk away, glass in hand. she calls me back, saying that the cup would probably hold more water. i put the glass back down and proceed to pick up the cup. she tells me to bring the glass downstairs as well so our maid can wash it. i pick up the glass. as i turn towards the direction of the door, she reminds me:

"lagyan mo ng malamig na tubig yung nasa right, ah". woah, hold on. i'm holding the glass in my right hand. so, i clarify things with her.

"ano? lalagyan ko ng tubig yung baso?" she shuffles some papers and looks at me, exasperated.

"sinabi ko na nga. lagyan mo ng tubig yang tasa. bumobobo ka na talaga dahil sa computer na yan" i walk away, insulted. but i still go downstairs to fill the cup with cold water + ice. i put the glass near the sink, so our maid will know that it's for washing. i go back to her room and give her the cup of ice-cold water. she says nothing. i walk out, making my way over to my chair. and here i am now. sitting in front of the computer.
