my mom woke me up at 9:30 in the morning yelling that we had to go to mass. i eventually got up at 9:50 to take a shower. i read the newspaper first until my sister threatened to use the bathroom before me. so i took a shower and got dressed. wouldn't you know it, i had no underwear left. i found some eventually =) so we went to mass at the holy redeemer. after that we went back home for lunch. at about 1:30 we left again to go to the world trade center, more specifically, the world bex. its an exhibit for architects and civil engineers. we went there for the benefit of my brother. anyway, i got so impatient because the place was huge and mom was taking her sweet time. sure, some of the booths were fascinating but the rest...? c'mon! so when we came to the last aisle, i was filled with relief. only to find out that an extension was at the exit! seriously? seriously? so we went in but mom got so tired of my grumbling ang complaining we left. thank gawd! sp we took a jeep to harrison plaza to get me a new pair of pants. i really need it. some of my pants are way too short or way too tight. after about 30 minutes of searching for the perfect pair (we went to guess?, giordano and gotham--frankie b jeans) we ended up in this shop. there were three main brands there. levi's, jag and lee. we went through levi's but i couldn't find anything i liked. there was this one pair but it was waay too big (size 32). so after a fruitless levi's search, we went to lee (we skipped jag coz it just doesn't appeal to me. at lee i found some jeans worth trying on. i tried a couple of pants. they were all right but not sensational. finally, the helpful sales girl brought out these straight cut jeans and i immediately liked it. i tried it on but it was too big on me (size 29) so she got size 28 and it fit great. it was still a little loose but i'll grow into it. after that we ate bibingka. we finally went home and now here i am. busy day, huh? =)
